The LP10 is a meticulously designed urban sanctuary that epitomizes refined modern living. Situated in a high-rise development with expansive views, this private residence offers a seamless fusion of sophisticated aesthetics and functional luxury. The design is an exercise in restraint and precision, crafted to elevate everyday living while maintaining a serene, curated atmosphere. Every detail has been considered to reflect the lifestyle of a contemporary, design-conscious family seeking tranquility, clarity, and understated elegance in their home environment.
Client Brief or Challenge
The clients, a professional couple with two young children, approached the project with a clear vision: to create a home that balances aesthetic sophistication with intelligent spatial planning. They desired an environment that feels light, clean, and uncluttered—yet still warm and welcoming. Key priorities included a fully integrated open kitchen and dining area for family interaction, discreet yet ample storage, and multifunctional living spaces that cater to both leisure and productivity. The master suite, in particular, was to be designed as a personal retreat, blending a calming atmosphere with practical work-from-home solutions. Sustainability, natural materials, and a timeless palette were essential to the brief.
Concept & Design Approach
The design concept was guided by a philosophy of modern minimalism layered with organic warmth. A neutral foundation allows the architecture and materials to speak for themselves, creating a canvas of quiet luxury. Visual flow and spatial continuity were paramount, achieved through an open-plan layout, consistent tonal treatments, and integrated lighting design.
The color palette is intentionally subtle and calming: soft ivory, layered whites, and warm taupe create a serene base, while accents of matte charcoal, brushed nickel, and pale wood introduces depth and contrast. Touches of botanical green and muted geometric tones in accessories add a hint of curated personality without disrupting the overall harmony.
Materials were selected for their refined texture and timeless quality. Laminated oak veneer cabinetry grounds the kitchen with organic tactility, while a honed marble dining surface introduces elegance and durability. A brushed bronze-toned metal backsplash adds a gentle sheen and contemporary edge. Light Nordic oak flooring runs throughout, tying the spaces together with a sense of continuity and softness.

Key Outcomes
The final result is a residence that embodies both quiet opulence and practical sophistication. The open kitchen and dining area serves as the heart of the home, with concealed appliances and custom cabinetry enhancing both functionality and visual coherence. A sculptural lighting installation above the dining table introduces a modern focal point while reinforcing the space’s architectural intent.
The living area is designed for both relaxation and refined entertaining. A palette of soft neutrals and tactile materials sets a tone of understated luxury, while custom shelving and display niches provide space for curated collections and meaningful objects. Discreet technology integration ensures that modern comforts are available without interrupting the visual purity of the space.
In the bedroom, simplicity is elevated through thoughtful detailing. Tailored textiles, layered lighting, and tonal wall finishes establish a sense of retreat. A streamlined workstation is incorporated with subtlety, ensuring the room remains restful yet functional.
Throughout the home, storage is artfully integrated—panels, niches, and cabinetry appear as part of the architectural language rather than functional afterthoughts. Lighting is treated as a narrative element, enhancing spatial perception and ambiance with effortless grace.
